Solid Bond Consulting is co-founded by a former Ofsted inspector with over 35 years in children’s residential care, including 15 years as an Ofsted inspector, and a Registered Social Work Professional with 35 years across frontline child protection, residential care, quality assurance and training. Between them, that’s inspection judgement on one side and the lived experience of building quality assurance and training that actually changes practice on the other.
Residential child care is a serious, skilled profession. Too often it’s treated as a job anyone can do and quality as a box to tick. We exist to challenge both — by helping providers build services that hold up under real scrutiny, and by helping the people running them feel properly supported while they do it.
We’re deliberately small. When you work with us, you work with us – not a rotating panel of associates and not a franchise. Decades of frontline residential, inspection, safeguarding and quality assurance experience, personally invested in your home. We’d rather do fewer things properly than everything at arm’s length.
